KATE SENISI, CPDT-KA, is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer dedicated to reducing the number of pets surrendered to shelters by providing education that’s smart, humane and accessible. With a holistic approach and an emphasis on creative thinking, she develops solutions that effectively solve behavior issues without using fear or pain.
Kate is part-owner of School For The Dogs, a Manhattan-based animal training center located in the East Village. Her specialties include working with reactive, aggressive or anxious dogs and with bully breeds. In addition to years of hands-on shelter experience, she’s attended numerous behavior workshops and partaken in several apprenticeships. She lives with two matching four-leggeds: Sir Charles the cat and Disco, a pit-mix with dance moves like Travolta and continues to volunteer time and her home for fosters with rescues like Bully Project.
